Motto: Share the Good News

The good news is a very simple message. Confess that you are a sinner. Confess that Jesus is your Saviour and submit to following Him in the calling to which you are called. For more information, see the contact page. For a more detailed gospel message see below:

How to Get to Heaven

God loves you. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"...but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23b

God wants us to have peace with Him, so why are so many people not experiencing this? We are not mindless robots. He gave us a will to choose between right and wrong. The problem is we often choose to go our own selfish ways instead of God's ways. This sin separates us from God.

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

"...the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23

"But your iniquities have separated between you and God and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear." Isaiah 59:2

The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross is the only way to remedy this sin problem. He paid the penalty for our sin closing the gap between us and God.

"But God commendeth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death into life." John 5:24

What can we do to obtain this precious salvation? We can trust in Jesus alone to save us.

"But as many as receive Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." John 1:12

This is the way to receive Jesus.

  1. Admit that you are a sinner. (Confess)
  2. Be willing to turn from your sin. (Repent)
  3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you and rose from the grave and is seated at the right hand of the Father. (Believe)
  4. Invite Jesus to come into your life and lead you through the Holy Spirit. (Pray)

You can say a prayer similar to the one that follows:

Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died to pay the penalty for my sin. I want to repent and follow Jesus. I invite Jesus to come into my life, in Jesus name. Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer from your heart, the next thing to do is submit to Jesus in the calling in which you shall be called. You can learn to do this in a Bible believing church such as Immanuel. Praise the Lord, there are exciting times ahead.
